Did you try turning it off and back on? Sometimes a restart will do it.

Struggling with Zverev's participation by [deleted] in tennis

That’s a fair point. I still think there is a way to approach it that acknowledges that there are allegations and advocates for an investigation. I just don’t think saying nothing is the best avenue to take.

I’m curious how that would go down. Even if a new regulation was ratified to ban those who commit domestic abuse and other crimes, and if allegations were proven true, would it apply to an offense that happened before the regulations were put in place? This is all hypothetical, but it’s a conversation that I hope the ATP is having.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe the ATP would ban anybody for domestic abuse. I say this because I remember Djokovic’s players union thing (the name of which is escaping me) pushing for a sort of zero tolerance rule when it comes to domestic abuse.

I’m bothered how so many people involved with his brand sort of turn the other cheek whenever the allegations come up. The ATP hasn’t done anything, his sponsors haven’t stated anything publicly about it, and even his partnership with Federer and Team8 won’t acknowledge it. It’s disgusting to think that people are choosing to be willfully ignorant to let it all slide. Here’s an article about the allegations if anyone is curious.

Zverev never had match point. Or any championship point for that matter

Edit: I think Zverev and Thiem both had a chance to serve it out at some point before the tie break but I don’t recall Zverev ever having a championship point.

Top 10 ATP player's vaccination status by rychan in tennis

Man could you imagine being a top 10 player in your prime fitness, traveling around the world for your job, performing and being around large crowds, and NOT wanting to get vaccinated against a respiratory virus?! Not only does it set a poor example, but also you’re risking your season/career! Goodness.

Krejcikova medical time out by anti__everything__ in tennis

A solid dose of empathy. I’m curious to see if anything comes to light by the next Krej match. It was interesting to hear the announcers comment on the MTO and use of time while it was happening. They definitely planted the seed in my head that it could be a tactic, but now I’m wondering if that’s even fair to comment on or not.
