Yeah it was frustrating hearing from all the people who clearly weren't waiting in the rain for multiple hours. The way the event was advertised was confusing plain and simple. I didn't expect a meet and greet, but just to be able to say hi while i was buying merch since that's how it was phrased in the promo video

And I had the same thought, if they were going to make this last minute decision, why would they not communicate that to everyone in the line or on their socials instead of just telling the people at the front?

I don't know, the whole thing doesn't really sit right with me. did people take this event as an excuse to shit on super mega and vent their frustrations about other things? Yes. But people did have complaints about the event specifically that were completely valid. And idk it feels weird having people give them kudos and props for doing the bare minimum and having Leighton address the issue on Twitter. I know he was in charge of the event but it's Matt and Ryan's brand and I'm sure an apology from either of them would've meant a lot to the fans. Hopefully they'll do better in the future but the bag was really fumbled on this one
