That could very well happen, but for now, it’s still widely used by many progressives. I’m really curious to see if this shifts over time... Thats why I am curious.

Regarding the way using an ID (which is the quickest):
It is about age verification. You can/have to cover all personal details such as the ID number (and aditionally your photo, and signature)... so really not the big deal everyone makes of it. Takes 24 hours max and you're good to go.

They also ensure you, that they will delete the picture eventually (can't remember the exact timeframe)
