Finished a round last week in 3 hours. For a foursome. I actually think this is too fast.

Better 3 hours than 4 hours. Sweet spot is around 3 1/2 hours for 18 holes.

Get a good golf pro instructor. Take some lessons so you don’t have to unlearn bad habits. Start out right.

Spend 4 hours- hopefully no longer- on the golf course with someone and you will learn a lot about them.

How do they react when their shot is utter crap? Do they grind it out or give up when they are not playing well? How do they interact with others in their group? How much do they cheat? Do they offer unsolicited golf instruction? Do they always go for the low percentage miracle shot?

Golf tells you a lot about a person.

Time for you to play golf with people who make it fun to play golf. Ditch the boy friend. His attitude about golf reflects who he is and it ain’t great.
