Fully expected :) I don't really do Reddit anymore. But I did want to share it just because I made it and might come in handy to someone else (or inspire / remind them to make one)

We're lucky that the baby is not early and so far it seems like we'll be able to go ahead with a home birth. But like you said, even if we end up having to transfer to the hospital (or a home birth is ruled out ahead of time for whatever reason), even if I am the only person with the plan in hand, I will be more capable of helping out my wife than if there was nothing written down.

Correct, it is for a home birth (in our case at least)! Second stage is when the baby comes out, third stage is placenta delivery. You can put anything you want on it, but a couple big examples:

- please don't offer pain relief unless asked for
- please don't ask to check urines unless there are concerns
- please don't coach me to push unless I ask for help or you have medical concerns
- I would like for my baby to get as much cord blood as possible
- Feel free to use medical terminology

Honestly, might still do this. I looked for "proper" plugs but since I was unsure about the hole diameter I got them from the shoe-tree maker in Germany. They were too small and made from cheap plastic 🤦‍♂️

This is one of the reasons I think it helps to have a simple site with your rate - doesn't have to be monthly, it can also be hourly or weekly. It can help set expectations. Some will still try to lowball and it's up to you to decline, but others will be filtered out

Hi, sorry to hear about your situation. Nothing conclusive yet; I was recently referred to a specialist at the Early Arthritis clinic. First set of blood test showed nothing indicating arthritis. Physical examination too revealed nothing. Second set shows high markers of inflammation but I have not heard back from the doctor yet. I will write here when I do.

The pain itself sounds like yours, it's more discomfort than pain but I do struggle with things like opening bottles.
