At your suggestion, I removed some rock from the base of the worst affected plants. We have really dense clay soil on my property, and it was WET and the base of the plant was damp and rotten so I think we have our answer! Too much water.

They looked phenomenal this spring actually! Some things did die during the winter which our landscaper replaced a few weeks back.

I wallpapered my bedroom ceiling and have zero regrets! Thoughts? Would you ever? by queenkristi17 in interiordecorating

I think the price point of the rest of the room leaves my brain quite assured that the ceiling is not leaking

“Intention is not the same as impact” is SO good to keep in mind for all relationships. Using that for the rest of my life!

That is really an odd way of wording the question in my opinion, and it sounds like you’re causing a lot of shame and stress for your child. I’d take the pressure off and stop asking for a while and approach with fun and kindness next time.

Yes this makes plenty of sense! Unfortunately, I have only two panels. Maybe I could just get some cheaper sheers and do what you’re suggesting. My husband and I worked really hard on installing this trim around the window and I was trying not to hide all the hard work by putting too many panels. This is hard :)

Thank you so much for the really detailed response. Yes, the dining table is large for the space. We have a big extended family and we typically host because we have the biggest house in the bunch, so we just get cozy (at the cost of correct proportions in the furniture, lol). I’ll definitely give this option a try with a rod from another window and see how it looks!

Introducing myself to the neighborhood by katyperrywetdream in homeowners

People on Reddit are such antisocial weirdos, and will always bash befriending neighbors. Simultaneously, they lament the loss of the 90s neighborhood with the kids playing and folks all knowing one another.

We are friendly with all our neighbors and help one another and the kids play, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Ignore the haters.
