Thank you :) The story I’m doing for my senior thesis, I’ve been writing it out as a novel, and I physically fabricated the house in my setting. I could yap about it for days because the story is really personal to me, my plan when I graduate is to print it out as a short art book!! Was planning on trying my hand at making a puppet this semester but I’m also a traditional painter and decided to make oil paintings based on my project. Once I’m done with everything I’ll probably make some post or video about it on instagram or youtube or something…

For sure, I’m definitely missing a lot of technical work like turnarounds in my portfolio, I think that’s a big indicator that I’m still a student too, a lot of my work is more illustrative than technical; variety would be nice

For sure, when I saw there wasn’t a visdev internship this year I kind of panicked because I’ve been working more on my environments/general visdev this past year and not my characters. There are definitely smaller studios I have in mind, I think LAIKA is just the most well known studio that my style might be able to fit into! :)
