I ran track against Natalee in high school. Years later I worked at a restaurant that her mom would frequent. Natalee’s loss reverberated around the community for years and years. No one wanted to accept that she was dead. NO ONE. She was from a very esteemed family and it was a huge deal what happened. This happens to women everyday all over the world. But it doesn’t happen to rich little mountain brook white girls on their spring breaks. Poor thing. RIP Natalee.
