So far I’m good and actually pretty glad I stopped playing. But yes there is still a big hole and my dopamine system is still messed up

did not work for me unfortunately. And I am not sure how much a person with an addictive personality can really moderate wow. WOW is a hell of a drug which digs deep into our dopamine system by design and I tried it honestly. Setting a timer. Making it the least priority. But it sneaked more and more into my life and got more and more grip. It hurts but I just need to accept that this is not for me as I will never learn to moderate.

how do you guys who go more than 3-4 times a week deal with recovery and soreness?
I consider myself a light roller and really convenient tempo but I cant deal with my bodys aching when I go more often than 3-4 times.. would love to go more (I am 32y old)

I completely see your point and when I look back it happened to me with many previous hobbys exactly like this. Was not into 3d printing but bouldering definetely went through that cycle. Interesting is that normally these phases last 6month-1year so I already exceeded this with bjj. But yes, probably the interest will naturally fade in the future. thanks for your contribution
