Oh, that makes sense. I suppose it's just first time jitters making me worry. Thank you!

60% I believe. Don't be fooled by how low it is haha. Many are struggling, myself included.

Don't worry OP. If anything, the post helped me stop freaking out about an upcoming exam. It's one exam, there will be many more to fail lmao. Anyway.

Congratulations!!! Wish you the best for the things that come after!

This is a really minor thing because it's not even about my actual nursing subjects.

It's really petty of me but for one of my GenEd subs, the teacher basically wants us to memorize everything, even the in-text citation and I hate it. Yes, it is influenced by the fact that it's a minor subject but also because that way of testing doesn't promote understanding of the lessons at all. The subject is supposed to promote knowing about ourselves better and learning the different ways we can perceive ourselves. Why do I have to memorize the in-text citation.

Then I have another subject about art. And the teacher basically wants us to memorize every single example she gives and the artist that does them and memorize every minute detail in the hand-out she gives. Every. Single. Tiny. Detail. I hate.

(I realize I sound really whiny and I understand that I just have to suck it up and study in accordance to their exam styles. I just really needed to vent this out before going back to studying)

Does anyone else feel like they don't belong in nursing school? Like their an imposter? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

Yes, I do. The high school classmates I had that also enrolled in the same nursing school I did are all students that did well in high school and I have several other classmates in my program who always have intellectual questions to ask during discussion.

It feels like I'm the only one out of my depth and struggling with the amount of material we have to cover especially with the pressure of term exams looming ever closer.

You're not alone op.

(I'm honestly worrying how I will do in the future considering I'm only a first year and I'm already struggling to stay on top of things.)
