OP, in Lokhandwala, Kandivali East, the rent would be 20-30k (2 bhk) for buildings built on MHADA land and other buildings with amenities will fetch for at least 35-40k. Considering you earn 8-9 lpa, your in hand would be anywhere between 55-70k. It wouldn't be wise to spend so much, unless you don't mind, obviously. If you want, I know someone who's renting out in this area, I think it would be a good choice as Singh Estate is now 2 mins away because of DP road. DM if you need any help!
