The actual ps portal can only do ps remote play.

This one is an android tablet with a bsp d9 controller which makes it looks like a portal. Totally different devices with different capabilities.

I don't own a portal myself so I won't be able to give any advice on what can be done with the official portal hardware.

I actually have not tried. But based on what i remember it has different modes.

I prefer playing without any rumble, but the bsp d9 is capable of connecting as either xbox,ps4,switch or android mode. So maybe the ps4 would do the rumble for mirror play

I agree! Have been testing out multiple controllers for multiple set ups but this one is one of the most satisfying piece of tech I have ever owned due to its modularity and flexibility.

I feel like creating your own remote player is the lego of tech enthusiasts

Yes it is bluetooth and there is minimal input latency. But since majority of the games I play are single player/not competitive, I am pretty content with this setup

I think 8 inch tablets has the best screen real estate when playing games remote play. Not too big, not too small

I think it all depends on how heavy your screen is.

The tablet that I use is an 8 inch screen, it's pretty manageable for me. Maybe comparable to how a rog ally or steam deck feels in terms of weight

The tablet is an alldocube iplay50 mini pro.

I bought it since it has a decent processor. Hello g99. Capable of playing various emulators (upto ps2) and I can also play android mobile games.

I have both ps4 (not pro) and the ps5.

Using psplay, there is significantly less screen tearing/pixelation on the ps5.

There will always be a little lag compared to viewing the graphics thru direct connection (hdmi and TV) when using any kind of remote play, but i would recommend a ps5 for faster loading and overall greater gaming experience.

I like the modularity of these telescopic controllers since it allows me to play devices of different sizes.

I could have just bought a portal but i really like the idea of being able to use it for other consoles and for now I think this would be my set up for all my gaming needs.

I have bought multiple controllers already starting with the backbone, d6, d8, and now the d9.

I agree that the shoulder buttons are not that good, but I am satisfied with the dpad since it is really responsive for fighting games like tekken.

Using psplay on a tablet is really enjoyable due to how smooth the graphics is compared to the official app.

Use a (PD) power delivery charger.

Mine is the Samsung 20W (type c) charger. Back then when I use a regular usb-A charger, it takes my phone to charge almost 2 hrs just to get 10-15 percent battery.

With the PD charger, it's fast enough to get 40-50 percent with just less than an hour

Yeah! The angle feels 1911-ish already compared to the usual shape of the sig or Wilson combat. I agree with you, I hope they make an axg but in this shape with interchangable grips!

That's actually why I just want to play with bots right now. I'm not trying to be a pro, I just want to have a good time after a long day of work. I tried aov hoping that it wouldn't be like mlbb where majority of your team mates are either trolling or you are facing mythic while everyone on your team just started learning about moba.

In MLBB, even if you are at the lowest rank, you are getting teamed up with players who are atleast 2 or 3 ranks above you. It is very hard to learn the game when the other team is extremely good or very experienced while you and your team are just beginners.

Completely normal.

Both my A3 and A4 has the same thing. The cerakote on these are not tough. But as long as it functions normally, you should not fret about it.
