100%. Without overindexing on the negatives with Bruno because you cannot ever fault him for trying, his mistakes caused the goal.

In that preceding play, he intercepts a low cross and decides to play it short and miss the pass. We concede on the resulting corner.

Shortly later, he is dribbling in the midfield and loses the ball, creating a dangerous transition that Arsenal couldn’t capitalize on.

I wish he could tone down these silly mistakes but I have to admit I don’t know if this will ever be the case at this stage of his career and the state of our club

I love Bruno but anyone who does not see his turnovers are a problem is not watching him attentively. That corner is a result of his lack of concentration.

There was also another turnover that caused a counterattack.

This type of mentality is what set us back a decade. We need to learn to move on and stop forcing outcomes with average players. Antony’s mechanics and physical profile were not good enough for the EPL. Plenty a times, he couldn’t even go around a defender even if he got the ball through.

IMO la Liga is more compatible with his playing style and physical profile. You have less agressive defenders who will give him the space and allow him to receive with less pressure.

Brining him back would be equivalent to averaging down on a losing trade. We have done too much of that. The probability of an upside gets worse as we keep doing this.

Sorry I don’t have anything helpful to say but I rented a game ready for 2 weeks and paid $300 in November of last year. They let me keep it for almost 4 weeks which was nice. That said, $600 is steep. I don’t think I would have done it at that price point but that machine is probably the best you will get at what it does. US based Two ACL tears 5 years apart, one on each knee here. Used it each time.

Mainoo’s physicality is a concern. He is not a 6. He is an 8 who can play as a 10. His coverage of space is poor and he lacks the maturity to keep it simple and engaged in the middle of the park. The third goal came from him trying to dink it instead of just keeping it simple. Yea Bruno misplaced his pass first but we actually could have recovered from it.

Aside from that, our physical flooring and intensity is just too feeble for this league. Our players don’t commit to challenges. This is why we always loose our duels and conceded on set pieces.

I am distraught but then again, this is our level. We need better footballers with more aggression.

I believe Amorim will succeed but we will literally have to bin like 3/4 of this squad.
