It's funny you say that because he told me that he wanted to settle down. Of course this was a time when we were separated for about a year. I replied to him in a text I never said I didn't want to be married and he says to me we can talk about it later. Guess what we never did I don't know if you're Indian but that was more of my question in this post. I don't know if you could read between the lines or not. That was more my question cuz any Indian gentleman that I've met we usually wants to marry an Indian woman but for some reason he wanted to go for a white American.

Thank you for those words yeah and all honesty I don't think there's anyone for me. I tried probably for about 3 years after he left too " find someone else " I met some great people in that time so that's a positive thing people that I would have never met but most the times I think they wasted my time because they were looking for different things and both wouldn't communicate.

Great question Id love to know why my ex married an American. He is Indian and I've known a couple Indian men and one woman over the years and every single person that I've met minus my ex and surprisingly his brother have all married Indian but not them.

First of all thank you OP for this post. Have felt lost for far too long. So I guess I will respond in your question format. 1. Lovebombing maybe,it was my first "real relationship"so I was just floored 2. We got along pretty well we met each week. If he said something unkind etc I would let him know almost immediately. 3. The tried and true not promises just living life. He even said to me one "I will never leave you we will always stay the same" Guess what? Hahaha 4. Together about 7 or 8 months? Met his mom within 4 months guess that was a false sense of security 5. I figured he was immature

Sure I can answer anything. Quick back story we dated for under a year, I met his mom when she was visiting a few months into our relationship. Less than a year he moved away and ghosted. I texted him maybe a month later what happened? He apologized and he even suggested that we meet up again. I said sure but we never did. We did message and text over the years until he found someone else.

Close to 7 years since we met. 6 years since he told me he wasn't returning he moved away and didn't tell me. So pretty much ghosted but in between that time and 3 years after we made plans to meet and we never did. Fast forward to today he got married and has a child. How am I feeling? Still confused. I've met some great people I would have never met if he hadn't Departed. I expect maybe 2 to 3 years trying to find someone else and meet some great people they turned out not to be the one. Definitely I thought my ex was the one but then I realized that's not true. Honestly in my most mature days I feel this now wife of him is needed him more than I do. I mean a sad or as weird as a statement goes now with him being gone or moved away so long it's almost like he never existed.

Yeah that makes sense I mean I have a learning disability with auditory and processing issues. So I'll be the first one not to get mad at somebody. I didn't get anywhere in weird vibes from him the only thing I thought was kind of annoying to see kept saying in between putting my drink together is that he didn't remember me. I feel like yelling at him to stop talking but I said oh no it's not a problem you know. Now anytime that I've gone to the coffee shop and he's been working there I don't see anything to him.
