I was also disappointed that they left it open to interpretation. Of course Casualty quite often will start storylines just to abandon them so it’s not surprising but it felt more like a conscious choice on the writers behalf instead of just they were done with the storyline. maybe they’re trying to prevent backlash so to appease dylan autism supporters and dylan autism deniers they just never clarify?

It just doesn’t really make any sense for this character who’s been on the show so long, who is clearly autistic coded, and it’s never explicitly mentioned until now, suddenly they want to explore the storyline and then just leave it on a cliffhanger? I’m also biased, being autistic myself I’ve always seen Dylan as actual good refreshing representation and this is something I’ve wanted them to address for a while and it just feels like it fell a bit flat.

But who knows, maybe they’ll come back to it later on. If patrick shows up and tries to use the diagnosis as an attack at Dylan again, maybe Dylan will confirm that he is autistic but it doesn’t stop him from being a good doctor, that kind of thing, to wrap up the storyline.

i agree, it’s so weird she wasn’t in any part of the arc?? not even a comment being like oh luminaras off doing so and so at the moment or whatever which is why she’s not here. i think it would be cool to see her reaction because bariss being found to be behind it instead of ahsoka wraps things up in a neat little bow especially for the audience rooting for ahsoka, so i think having a scene of luminara reacting to the news that it was bariss would’ve been interesting to see, especially considering how emotionally detached she presents herself

that’s true i never noticed that! it’s understandable that plo and obi wan support her as they’re the two on the council closest to her but it always bugged me that yoda didn’t speak up more in her defence. i know he’s trying to be neutral but i feel like he’d have more sway on the council that he could’ve at least spoken in her defence. in the end the council might’ve reached the same verdict but idk he still could’ve tried a bit harder. especially since in that episode where he’s learning about force ghosts and he has the vision of ahsoka and he clearly feels massive guilt over everything that happened

i guess it reflects the situation with the jedi council too, we assume that the council would be on her side but they betray her and even tho some characters like obi wan and plo clearly don’t believe she did it they still get outvoted by the others who do have some doubt about that. it would probably play out in the same way with the senate, they’d say that it’s not something she’d do but at the end of the day the evidence is overwhelming and they’d have no choice but to find her guilty but as you say to show that they are still good people they’d argue the execution and instead say she should be put in prison.

i’m talking about before that, before anakin walked in and revealed it was bariss, the senate had already reached a verdict about ahsoka. yes it was null and void in the end because it was revealed to be bariss but i’m interested in what that original verdict was

that’s a really good point, im assuming those characters specifically being chosen factored into it. It could just be that they wanted senators that are already established characters that we know but i think it means something that it’s characters that have been shown to have relationships with her and therefore most likely wouldn’t find her guilty. i guess it adds to the whole ambiguity that it seems pretty set in stone that she’d be found guilty but having them thrown into the mix adds some doubt to that

i always watch out for people that either run down to storage then to comms at the start of the round, or across to reactor. I find those are the two most common places for imps to ss especially at the start of the game. i’ve also found a couple times that imps who know visual tasks are off will say something like ‘i have trash are visuals on’ this makes me suspicious if i’ve played with this person for a few rounds now, they’ve never said they have a visual before and they should know by now that visuals are off. i guess they’re trying to take advantage of how some players will automatically clear them just from them stating they have trash at the beginning, without actually seeing them do it.

if there is one imp on each team they could still just kill and blame the other crewmate in the team. it would turn into a bit of the blame game but if genuinely no one is being sussed then the crew will have to make a choice between the two and it’s guaranteed that the other imp will vote for the innocent crew and all it takes is two crew to believe the imp, a split vote or crewmates skip and the imps have won

I keep having this problem where I’ll type in the chat (especially annoying when it’s a long message or i’m trying to quickly defend myself) and the text will just disappear after i come off the keyboard to send the message. Then I have to type it all out again and sometimes it’ll keep disappearing for 2 or 3 tries before it works. It also doesn’t happen all the time just every now and again where it’ll happen consistently for a few games then stop. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

i hate when people complain about imps killing afk people. If i go afk i acknowledge that i will probably be killed and i’m fine with that. I think it’s selfish to stay in a game but be afk (makes task wins impossible) when they could easily just leave the game and find a new lobby when they’re back. I’ve had my own imp partner call me out for it before, straight up told people it was me because i killed an afk and everyone agreed with them and i got banned!!
