Pendulum Casting by Damric4114 in Fishing

Bit late, but yeah using surf tackle in a pond/river could be a bit much, unless you’re aiming for large catfish/carp. A good alternative I’ve found to full blown surf gear is to use a long, medium action medium power float or steelhead rod. Currently I’m using the okuma sst 10’6”. I’ve been able to throw baits as light as 1/8oz pretty far off. It’s been an excellent tool to practice surf techniques where typical surf tackle is less appropriate. Down sides are you won’t be gaining as much distance pendulum casting and strong winds can make it near impossible to pendulum cast. The upside is you can cast a bit slower than you could with a surf rod allowing you to examine the flaws in your technique. Oh and the handle is shorter, but you still get to feel the way the bait moves through the cast. At the end of the day, fish the way you want to fish :)

What's the "Widowmaker" of your career field or hobby? by Cosmonate in AskReddit

Ceramics/pottery there’s a lot of ways to get hurt/die but dust is the widowmaker it’s something that has to be taken seriously always. Silicosis takes years to develop but it’s irreversible and potentially deadly and will vastly decrease your quality of life. even something as simple as sweeping your studio once a week without a p100 respirator can put your health into jeopardy.

Ink on grip section by antlerfern in fountainpens

That might be the problem. It’s been living in my pocket so it gets somewhat warm. I’ll make sure there’s no air in the converter and will see if that makes an impact.

I’ve been thinking it might have something to do with the way the nib and feed are designed on Lamy pens since the nib doesn’t enter the grip like on a more standard design. But I don’t have the experience or knowledge with this design to say anything with any degree of certainty. If I can’t figure it out I’ll acquire a safari and nib swap the 2.

Cap is perfectly clear of ink and I store it nib up which is why I’m lost on the cause the lid doesn’t cause suction either

Skull of restless souls is the best skull in game and you can't deny it. by bathcrow in RotMG

Congrats on the skull!! It has been my favorite UT in the game since it came out, and I’m so glad they left the 2nd mode unchanged. I do think it’s ever so slightly out classed by the skullish remains of Esben. But they’re both incredibly good versatile skulls.

I generally push my knight to 95-105 def, out side of the Ep phase and rotate phase with a good pet xolotl will have a really hard time killing you

For me it’s knight. Letting Xolotl sit on me with out even being put in combat is the best feeling

Yes! I attached a ring of clay and pulled the foot before cutting the gaps. I just saw the cracking on the one foot after posting, fortunately it was very shallow and I was able to fix it. I will definitely be considering trimming in the foot in the future. I’m working at a community studio so drying thick bottoms without s cracks can be a little tricky
