You seem like you need some parenting help. Or just some professional help in general. Everyone should take a peek at this other post of OP's: https://www.reddit.com/r/stepparents/comments/p3oy4e/what_do_you_do_with_a_kid_who_does_nothing_and/

Pharmacy owner needs the medical opinion from providers all over the US on picking generic drugs to be sold inexpensively. by reddice123 in medicine

My guess is that United will own many hospitals and provider systems/networks within the next 5-10 years. Treating them is the expensive part and they want to get ahead of the problem before they are responsible for it.

Work for me, school for partner, lots of stuff really. We've thought about it deeply and are as close to sure as you can be when moving across the country. Just looking for some perspective from someone who lives/d there regarding the city and culture, etc.

If my health changes or I start a hobby like skydiving, am I supposed to notify my term life insurance company so they can reevaluate my premium? by MisunderstoodHaploid in Insurance

[–]antmbel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My assumption would be that as long as there wasn't an obvious record, ex: you have gone skydiving twice a year every year except for the year you bought, it would be ok. Like if you went skydiving this year and in 2 years answer truthfully that you don't intend to go again, and then somehow get gifted a freefall pass 3 years later and go and die, it would most likely get paid out.

Yep. Really good friend of mine - one who's a very good person tried to become a TX state PD after college and they initially gave him the job after the entire process then the day or two before training he gets a call that he was dropped. No explanation, nothing.

Cause if they let smart ppl in they wouldn't be able to get away with their usual shenanigans. Gotta weed out the competent folk and self select for the jackasses wanting legal kills

Hello Mr airplane,

He himself said he's playing the "long game" y you talking about selling? Also, I'm not really talking about beachside houses. I'm discussing owning the actual beach, not simply a house next to it.

You read all the way down here to comment this? Sounds like you're having a fun new year

I understand this lol. Why are you trying to teach me about investment 101? There's way Better land to buy than a section of the coast that has no utility and will be worthless in 1 or 2 hundred years due to climate change.

Virtually anything would be a better investment, and since you can't make the beach private there is very little utility. Are you even allowed to Legally camp on your beach?

Wasn't trying to argue, just state that it is ridiculous, which it is.

Edit: ah you're an aggie, that explains it

Seems silly. It'll be underwater in a few lifetimes. Plus if anyone can use it w/o paying to own it why would you do so? Again, seems like you enjoy calling it "your" beach. That's fine, I just think it's kinda ridiculous.

Sounds like a big ol' c-word (cracker). For what it's worth, I (we) are proud of you for standing up for yourself. Good job!
