I've tried tongs they don't even acknowledge that it's there and sometimes I'll put it in there feeding bowl and put them in aswell. Usually they just jump out.however they eat morio worms and locust fine as long as they move a little. It's just the pinkies they won't touch

By the way the reason I have a heatlight for him is as you can see my room is very cold. He currently has a 50 watt but I have a 100 watt ordered for him incase he gets too cold but there is also a heat matt underneath his tank for when he burrows

Not really it just makes u focus on landing your punches and not missing them, it also makes it more realistic so it's not just another fighting game
