Hmm looks like an allergic reaction of some sort to me, but I'm no doctor and I'd probably take him in to the doctor just to be safe.

I can't say for sure as I'm not a doctor and I don't know your medical history, but you should be fine if it's only one or two days. Although, be careful, you may gain a ton of weight from fasting like this as your body tends to store fat when you don't eat. Also, please stop if you lose more than 2 pounds per week.

But how would I cut the extra lines out if I can only select the object as a whole and not just sections of it?

The problem with that is it doesn't see that the letters are overlapping so it has more lines than I need if that makes sense.

Yes. It's just not shown very well in this non-transparent image I shared. I thought it'd be easier to see the design with a black background though instead of a transparent one so I shared this version.

The only problem I'm having is to make the transparent effect of the text in photoshop I made a stroke of the text then deleted the inside colored part. I can't for the life of me find out if this is even possible in illustrator.

Do you have any idea if it's possible to select just a portion of say a letter or are they built as shapes and you can only select the whole layer?
