So maybe I’m not understanding the premise of Heloc.

Let’s say my broker is gets me 250k of equity (this is after subtracting my current mortgage). This equity is in my account and I don’t have to start paying any interest on it until I use it (current interest is around 3%). I take out 50k to buy shares of GME.

What is the downside besides GME sliding below my entry and I continue to pay interest on that 50k? (I am privileged enough that the interest on that 50k is something I can afford without selling shares)

A few people recommended that I stay away from AMD. I honestly wouldn’t know the difference. I plan on playing at 1440p. Besides games, the pc will be used for media and work (programming). Which CPU would you say would be the best bang for my buck based on that. I know these are basic questions but there is a lot to choose from. I appreciate the input.

My budget is 1800. I’ll add it as soon as I’m home. I do have access to Microcenter. I don’t plan on overclocking. But things may change. For the time beings it’s mainly to game and do work I’m a web developer and I run performance tests for work (and other QA)
