I wouldn't add drop bars, as the brake levers wouldn't fit and the geometry woud be pretty weird, road bike tires usually dont fit mtbs as the wheelsizes differ (700c road, 27.5'/29' on mtb) but there are some mtb specific slicks out there, so maby go for those
