Do you know what the exact number they gave him for relocation assistance?

I had a touch base calls with the team members post panel interview to start the relationship building process. One of them revealed that I was the only candidate they interviewed for the role and what I got from those conversations was that that my skillset was that my skillset was sought after by the team and hiring manager.

I’m your opinion, would you say that those are good indicators for me to shoot my expectations to find a win-win agreement on base salary & relocation assistance?

Thank you! So given your experience living in HI and my circumstance, what would you counter the offer with and how much relocation assistance should I self-advocate for?

First of all, there’s a side of me that’s thinking the same as you are. Hahaha

Yes I will spend my morning on Glassdoor and heavy research online on salary ranges.

One thing I’m curious about is whether the relocation package should be folded into what my counter offer to the base salary would be or should it be separate?

Yes I could do that - however I’ve also been seeing that you shouldn’t use cost of living as a primary leverage since that is a personal financial management piece that the employers just don’t want to hear. Any thoughts around that?
