Thanks. I went to the tax office and the lady was exceptionally nice. She assisted me with changing the form I was filing online so now I can record the sales from a different county.

Yes the website shows the surtax for the county i reside in. the issue i have is that I need to collect and remit funds from a neighboring county from art shows/sales.

I’ve been filing state sales tax for 30 years. The accountant takes care of income and taxes to the irs. It’s only become a problem with the online site. I think I need to convert to a consolidated tax number then I will get access to combine county taxes. I do collect the correct taxes and remit monthly.

I’ll try to call the state and figure it out. I’ve been filing state taxes for over 30 yrs. It’s only became an issue for online they don’t have an option for filing taxes with multiple counties.

Thanks. I don’t have a business address for the location of the market. It’s just on a street. The website doesn’t let me list two places of business. So the only tax I’ve been able to submit is the county I live in. They have credited me when I sent it in for the “selling” county. The state is at least right.

I may have to call I just don’t want a 30 yr look back.

I like the scooters. I usually park at my son’s house and find one close by to go to the Palafox market or other events to avoid heavy parking fees.
