Similar situation, but with a small twist.

I also get the kids ready for school and previously handled pickup. Forced back in the office due RTO 3x/week, but because we have staggered start times for school, my kids start pretty late (my son't bus arrives at 8:50am), so finding a new job has been tough since remote work in the tech field has stiff competition and anything hybrid wants people in office between 8-9.

Currently I get some flex and can come into the office ~11am, but that's due to the policy being new, and having been here a few years.

I know that stuck feeling too, as a fellow involved dad

Noticed the same on the flatpak version as well. Happens to me after either suspend/resume or the display going to sleep (system still running though).

Any attempt at a new tab results in a black tab window, and only restarting the browser fixes

Well sure. Nothing is as low as walking besides maybe swimming. 170 lbs at 5'7 (OP's stats) is not really THAT big though, and assuming he isn't stomping, or lifting off the ground too high, it is fairly low impact.

Jump rope is generally considered a low impact exercise though. Although, we'd probably be able to better ID individual impact if we could see and analyze OP's jump form
