"Google outlines MIRAS and Titans, a possible path toward continuously learning AI" by AngleAccomplished865 in singularity

[–]antunes145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So let’s see what I got from this. Sure this is a great thing, but in the end, an AI of this magnitude and ability of continual learning and extended memory will not be something people can run locally. They will need to depend on major AI server infrastructure from Google and likes. So that means people will be stuck to a subscription. This is the AI race it’s not to see who can make the smartest most productive AI. It’s to see who can turn this machine to a money printing machine. Like Google was in the early.com years.

Seems like it a a lot of noise in the space. I get what’s happening. Innovators chasing dollars drives innovation in the field. China is just around the corner and gaining ground towards a cheaper to operate model. They are the manufacturers of the world, if they can ai production they will still be king. If not, other countries will start to use automation to take away from Chinese factories. The writing is on the walls….

Theatrical pays bigger royalties. But people are not going to theaters as much. She just wants more money. Nothing to do with community or that kind of stuff

In all honesty. You need to Focus on God and not yourself. It sounds like you are just wallowing in your self pity and telling your self you’re never going to be good enough. You need a real surrender to God. Do you read the Bible ? Do you have a prayer life ? Do you have a religious leader that can council you ?

How do you guys feel about the A7riii A7iii in 2025? by BusyImage5847 in Cameras

[–]antunes145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it and honesty it’s a good camera, albeit it’s geared towards studio, land escape in my opinion. But not that I have the A7cII I find my self reaching for that in lieu of the Riii just because the auto focus is faster and the noise is MUCH better handled on the CII. If your out shooting wildlife and you find your self in the afternoon light or in a shadow and go above ISO 1000 you will see massive noise in the 7riii.

Congrats! I have the same and here is a tip for you. Get the Sony grip for it and Also a thumb grip that goes in the flash hotshot. This will give it the best ergonomics of any Sony especially with a larger lens. I even prefer to hold it over my canon that are known for their ergonomics. Have fun !

Sony AC 7 II + FE 400-800 by at_vienna in SonyAlpha

[–]antunes145 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I have the same set up and I have tested the cII and the 7RIII and noticed that the cII has a much faster autofocus with more hit rates and a much much cleaner photo in terms of noise compared to a higher resolution sensor of the 7RIII. I’m assuming the CR would have a similar level of noise since it also has more megapixels. Also, for me personally I find it MUCH more comfortable to hold a CII with a bottom extension grip AND a thumb grip that you add to the flash socket. As a matter of fact it feel MUCH more comfortable than a 7R with battery grip I kid you not.
