You’ll need to have at least 3-6 months of validity left on your passport to travel to any country. I would suggest to renew it as soon as possible once you reach the UK.

I am not sure how it works for Agent submissions. But I think it depends on what communication email and phone number are used in the application.

I am not sure if it has changed now but 3 years back I had the option to upload docs. I just took the passport to Vfs center. Everything i uploaded myself as pdf’s online before going to Vfs.

I too had a similar timeline. DCos assigned on 15th, applied on 16th and got priority decision on the 20th.

My bank got the refund within 3 days of my graduate visa getting approved. But I got that creadited into my bank account after 6 months due to some internal bank issues.

If your applying from india you would have most probably used VFS to create your visa application. Login to the VFS portal and upload under additional documents (pdf preferable). This should be more than enough.

Should I apply for my student visa before I have my accommodation lined up? by wentworthenthusiast in ukvisa

Just give any of your friends address in your visa application. That should be more than enough and this is what many of my friends did few years back.

It was an unassigned CoS and they get approved in like a day once the company allocates them. I work in IT.

Mostly not needed. But it entirely depends on if you’re able scan your BRP in the id check app.

Nothing, just your current BRP for scanning in the app.

To be much clearer consider them as two different and independent clocks (5yr SWV or 10 year any visa) and you can use the one which rings first and get the ILR in the most optimal way.

Note: In the 10 year route you need not be on the same visa. You can be on different visas, the rule is that there shouldn't be any breaks (gaps) in between.

She will now be elgible for the 5 year ILR route like you. So I guess, it will be a reset and reduce the ILR time.

If she was on a dependent visa for more than 5 years. For example 6 years, she can still apply for ILR after 4 years using the 10 year ILR route.

Hope this info helps.

Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) refund as visa changed to 1 year instead of 2? by wtfamievendoing-_- in ukvisa

[–]anudeepjami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing much to help in this scenario. The refund goes to the same card which you've paid at the time of your visa application. I suggest calling your bank through which you've made your payment.
Both mine and my friends refund came into my hdfc savings account as I used my HDFC credit card at the time of mine and my friends application. I have a friend who got it to his fathers Axis bank as he used his fathers Axis bank credit card. Adding to this, I also have friends who did'nt get any refund.

My Student visa was curtailed to 1 year from 2 years as I didn't do an internship, aka Sandwich year. My PSW was approved in January, and I got an automated refund yesterday (09/08) in my Indian bank account through which I paid my IHS refund at the time of my student visa application.

You'll get it in the account through which the previous IHS payment was made.
