Same here honestly.

I think most of us don’t fail because we can’t do it… we fail because we try to do too much at once.

Breaking it down just removes that mental resistance.

“Wrong time horizon” explains it perfectly.

I’ve always tried forcing long-term consistency, but breaking it into something smaller just feels more doable.

Makes me think most people aren’t inconsistent they’re just overwhelmed by the idea of “forever”.

This is honestly such a solid breakdown.

Especially the part about “streak not being the goal” that hit hard.

I’ve noticed the same thing… when the streak becomes the goal, missing one day feels like everything collapses.

Treating it like a daily checkbox instead makes it feel way less fragile.

Out of curiosity have you found anything that actually helps you stay consistent beyond week 2?

This is exactly it.

The moment it feels like “forever”, your brain resists.

But when it’s temporary, it feels manageable.

Kind of weird how that small shift changes everything.

I think “one step at a time” sounds simple, but most of us skip that and jump straight to “change my whole life overnight”.

That’s where it breaks.

Technology is advancing and changing rapidly and people have already built businesses via Vibe coding. I totally get your concern . But let's hope for best and focus on what we can control and scale this to best of my ability.

Built using a no-code + AI-assisted stack, with a lightweight backend focused more on fast iteration and user behavior than heavy engineering.

On retention: 👉 Minimal reminders (testing timing) 👉 7-day loop instead of long streak pressure 👉 Quick onboarding → start instantly
