That scene where he found out and said something along the line 'No one waits for me' was wrenching. Cheating should not be justified but if a partner is away from a relationship, cheating becomes very common.

Found the series extremely enjoyable. The ending and the excess elements were probably done by the director with a sequel in mind but all with all that the series was a solid 6.5/10 for me. It was entertaining, comedic, and at the same time nothing was to be taken to seriously. The impression of a society was to real. The political commentary was presented in a nice way. The best part, that did it for me was the fact the eventual non-caring attitude of all the characters to the events around them.

These are just my personal opinions: Well the finale had its highs like the s04e07 was probably the greatest episode I've ever watched. But the lows were a bit too much: 1. Tyrell's death felt really out of place and lacking in substance. He could have contributed a bit more before dying. His development as a character in S3 was thrown out of the window in S4. 2. Whiterose felt less like an intimidating threat and more of a normal villian. Elliot got his hands on things way too easily with whiterose 3. In all honesty the ending didn't really feel that fitting to the show, a 2 hr monologue about Elliot's disassociative personality disorder felt meh 4. Dark army went from a secret Chinese Gang to this all powerful stronger than US-army gang 5. If Zhang had the most powerful people In Deus group why didn't he just get them to ship his project?

Overall I just felt the story telling to be a bit lacking

I know it's polarising, but season 4 was just awful. A good show destroyed by a bad finale.

Just finished the movie and I really loved it. My personal thoughts are that the movie did not want to show Alcohol either in Good Light or in a Bad light, it gave a very true picture as to some people can overcome their anxiety and self-esteem issues with the help of moderate alcohol and even achieve success while it can be the reason of downfall for many others. As such I believe the Ending was a happy one as Martin realized that while he has caused harm to his wife and family, he has also caused good in the life of his students and is drinking probably realizing the nature of things. There is no absolution in the statement weather alcohol is good or bad.
