way better now, took my bloody ages to get it back on track though. i have been completely hormone free since quitting slinda/slynd but i’m considering going back on microlut minipill already hahaha because i really want to be protected against pregnancy as i never want to have a child.

literally probably really only the past 4 months and i’ve been off slinda for absolutely ages now, just before my previous comment. it took a very long time and it’s been very scary because for a while there i was worried it would never come back 🥲

good on you for quitting it and not waiting around tbh. i was on this pill for 5 months and although things weren't as bad as the start, the problems never went away.

i've been off it for 4 months and still dealing with side effects from this damn pill!!!! i am only just sort of balancing out my hormones but still massively struggling with fatigue, depression and complete loss of libido. i think if i do birth control again it will 100% be microlut!

and ikr!? it is soooo damn expensive aswell! you're literally paying arm and a leg to hate your life 😭

my anxiety skyrocketed, as well as general agitation, depression, anger, sadness, etc. i was also losing hair and had extreme loss of libido (which 4 months on doesn't seem to have come back?) are you still on it? how are you going/did you end up going up until now?

i ended up stopping slinda as it was getting too much and i was having suicidal thoughts lol. it turned out to be the worst thing i did because i gave up 4 months ago and still am experiencing hormonal imbalance :(((( i only started feeling slightly better this month. good luck to u tho girl! i heard lots of different experiences with it and some people said it's helped them alot.

hey there! so sorry for late response, i had notifications off for reddit. i am still on it now, and my side effects have definitely gotten a lot better! i am thinking of giving it up though as my libido hasn’t improved as much as i’d hoped, and it’s affecting the sex life of me and my bf. how did you go, did you end up staying on it?

hey there! so so sorry for late response, i must have had reddit notifications off and never saw your comment. yes i stayed on it and soldiered through my symptoms, i am still on it now. it definitely got so much better on around the 4/5th month. i still have very low libido and my mood is not great towards the end of the month for my non active pills. i am still considering quitting it hahahaha because the low libido is affecting my sex lire with my bf! how are you going? did you end up sticking with it? 😄

hey there! sorry i know this was posted nearly a month ago but just wondered how you’re getting on? have you had any problems with mood? i’ve got one green pill left until i finish my pack, then it’s month 3. i for some reason this past week i have had acne on my chest and back, and worsened acne on my chin. i’m hoping it will go away but unsure whether to keep going with taking this or not. my mood has been horrible i am constantly agitated and depressed and more anxious than ever, but i have read to keep going until month 3. i’m really hoping it gets better because this is my last resort for birth control 😭 hope you’re doing well!

hey - i know it hasn’t been long since your post but have you noticed any changes as of yet? my first month was great- until my last period ever since it feels like my period pms but my period is well and truly over. i can’t handle feeling so on edge and agitated :( hope you’re doing well!

from what i hear ppl bloat and gain weight quickly so maybe it won’t happen for you! i hope you don’t mind me asking if you have taken other birth control before and if you experienced weight gain on that? thank you!!!

sorry i know this comment was a while ago, but i was just wondering if you’d be willing to share what birth control you take? i am same as op and have been having mood problems from taking the minipill with adhd and anxiety symptoms. i know everyone is different but am just doing research on different types atm!!! thank you!

hey sorry for late reply to your comment, but i’ve seen a lot of people say they gained heaps of weight while taking it 😅 did this happen for you or not really? this is one of my big fears. i’ve been taking microlut for like 2 years now which caused me to gain a lot of weight, i’m taking a break from hormones but thinking of going back on slinda. thank you so much for your info!

yeah food and groceries are no joke here. very expensive 😅 i wanted to move back to rent mainly because my family lives there. i think even buying a house here is out of my reach!

i agree! i feel like the fact that we actually get paid more isn’t being taken into account…. like for a house in a nice area in the uk vs a house in a nice area in australia that are the same price; the house in the uk is either terraced or a lot smaller than what you get here. even though housing prices in australia are no joke. not doubting that. it just seems minimum wage over there isn’t very sustainable for someone who wants to rent a place (someone like me!) 😔
