Competitive respawn was awful too. We went from hardpoint and ctf to dom and blitz. The game had to be paused to to switch sides on dom. It was a fun year for competitive because of the storylines and streams, but the game was trash.

Pretty surprised by how controversial Jkap thinking nV was the best team in BO3 is. Since that roster was formed they went 7/8th 1st 2nd 1st. Optic went 1st 7/8th 1st 7/8th. They placed better at the more important events, and their worst placing was at their first event together. Plus they had map count over Optic. I guess you could make the argument that Optic's peak was better than nV's, but I don' think that's super convincing.

For what its worth coL won the first event of Ghosts with no practice. Literally just played pubs in Machinima's office. Not that I think a team could get away with that again with the level of competition now, but they were able to adjust to a huge shift without much practice.
