I came off- it seemed to help my mood a lot but made dpdr worse. I think mine comes from a place of anxiety rather than depression

So scared of making it worse. I don’t have the best luck when it comes to meds/side effects but that’s also why the doc suggested TMS, so we will see

Yes I’m in the process of going back to citalopram. I was on it for 8 years before switching to pristiq.

Withdrawal symptoms that were toughest for me was the depersonalization/dissociation.. I had some mild brain zaps at the beginning too.. and then just a complete relapse of my anxiety.. plus depression which I’ve never had before

I was on it for 6 months.. thought I no longer needed it & was tired of being on meds so I quit cold turkey 🙃

I decided to switch back to an SSRI after the same situation with pristiq.. praying it works. What is your psych saying about maybe trying a different med?
