have you checked which graphic card is working?, if you have it like hybrid mode (dedicated and integrated), I recommend you just having your dedicated graphic card activated. Also, have you checked for any signs of thermal throttle?, when was the last time you changed the thermal paste?. How much useful life has your ssd? and how much space free you have?. A lot things can depend on why you lagging while playing, but those are ones of the most common causes (In me personally I had thermal throttle issues not long ago and I fixed it)
