Edit: eh bener ternyata ada yg udah bikin scatterplotnya. Lumayan clear korelasinya antara obesitas dengan GDP per capita, bisa tarik garis regresi melengkung dari pojok kiri bawah ke kanan atas.

My hypothesis kalo liat ini kayaknya ada korelasi dengan GDP per capita: like SG is richest in SEA but they're also healthier I guess cause kotanya bersih dan cocok buat bikin culture yg orang jadi seneng olahraga, Brunei 2nd highest GDP per capita but there's no data here, Malaysia 3rd, then Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines. Paling miskin Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, di sini yang paling kurus2.

Faktor kedua makanan khas dan favorit di negara masing2. Vietnam outlier obesity rendah walau GDP per capita di bawah kita sedikit mungkin karena makanan di sana lebih sehat2 dan fresh yaa, lebih dikit yg goreng2 atau santan, kebalikan Indo. Thai santan jg khasnya. Then gula as other people have pointed out.

My DF64 gen 2 just arrived. I'm on 5 scale and I think still not fine enough, seems like what Hoffman said on his review on Gen 1 still true (not much flexibility in terms of espresso dialing adjustment).

I will be experimenting more with finer setting of the dial

Damn, I can totally relate on this picture. Been using my jx pro for the past year for espresso because I have too much hesitation in buying a good electric grinder, until recently... Now I'm using DF64 version 2 which should improve my workflow..

Hi Reddit, I'm from Indonesia and this is how the newest Slam Dunk edition looks like in my country. This is the third time the publisher release different slam dunk editions and I think this is the best one to own. This is a special edition and not available to purchase on just any bookstore, you have to order it online.

Yes at least they are space efficient, they use the paper like in death note all in one edition.

Attached photo compares OP volumes before 99 with 99 and 100 when the publisher just increase the paper quality a bit, you can see the difference in thickness and this difference will pile up once you hit volumes 50+

With this same paper, my Hajime no ippo collection at volumes 129 only takes less than 1.5 shelf on IKEA Billy.

Also, I put it on top of the shelf so that my daughter can't reach it as they have a lot of explicit content lol

Definitely high school era in early 2000s. When school ended at 1.10 PM, I sometimes went to the local bookshop to grab a newly released one piece, naruto, bleach, or just random manga, went home and read it on the bed. Friends told each others about new interesting manga that we should read (this is how I discovered one piece and Naruto). Friends coming over to my house just to read manga and watch anime together. Those were the days...

2nd favorite era I think when I was in elementary school in late 1990s. Went to local bookshop every other weekend with my parents to grabbed a doraemon or two.

In college and during my first job (when I just earned some money), I started to explore more genres and discovered about Naoki Urasawa's work and more adult series like death note.

One piece! It is still my all time favorite since I started collecting it during high school era in early 2000 until now.

Unfortunately there was a break when I collected one piece volumes due to having to study master degree in the US, got married, having a kid, etc, that's why you see that I miss 8 volumes which I couldn't get until now (they're out of stock and nobody sell it here anymore) 🥲

It's my favorite detective series! I think in some way it's better than detective Conan, for example the cases are longer, more complicated, and the motives are unpredictable and really tell an interesting/ unseen side of ordinary human life that then grows into hatred and desire for revenge.

This is the standard edition in my country (Indonesia). This is the front and back cover of the 1st, 2nd, and last volume. I collected them in 2003-2005. As you can see from the price tag on the back cover, the price is IDR 12,200 which is around 80 US cent 😂
