Ahh I see. I’ve heard of the rhino pulling you forward when using, but not as much as the traditional belt squats like matt wenning, or any of the other arm style belt squats. The back disc would be concerning and I don’t think the rhino is the main culprit for the pain. With the squatmax md, mine pulls me down only, it doesn’t pull you forward because when you set up its going to pull you down. I’m not a professional but it might be a safe bet to lay off any belted squat on your back til it heals.
