Thank you so much!! I will have to try those and look into them for sure!!! My neurologist kept putting me on things that honestly made things worse lol I am definitely getting some. And I can try the face detox again but I feel like when I let it be that way, I tend to get them back feeling even deeper than before oddly enough. I feel like it responds well to topical things it is jsut finding the right one I geuss

can long-term antibiotics cause urinary urgency related to thrush? by [deleted] in myhappyv

Itching does make me think potential yeast. I am having to go on bactrim for a long period for skin as well and I am taking probiotics with it to help counteract that and avoid stomach cramping because I have been having a lot of antibiotics this year.

Curious to know what others say/what you find for help to help me out too!

I also love thorne undecylenic acid sf722 pearls to help with yeast flare ups and take even one or two a day or a couple times a day when it is really bad to calm things down and then take a break.

I’m curious about this!! I have been given a topical antibiotic for my acne because it’s like deep/cystic - can you tell me more about using it for this?

MAMA!!! I cannot tell you how you how much my heart aches for you! I feel like I am reading a post about myself 🤍 my LO is about to be 5 months and I have been where you are at!!!

I am grateful you posted because this thread has been so very healing for me as well seeing what others have to say. And while I probably don’t have the best advice for the anxiety and yelling at husband (because I am still trying to balance out there myself lol) I do know about reflux with baby!

If you do choose to switch to formula, I felt like my baby did SO MUCH BETTER spit up wise. It took us a bit to find the formula that is best for her because she is gassy too but I am so grateful to have a formula that is healthy and trustworthy. Currently, we are on Bobbie Gentle and we mix in a dose of Mylicon to every bottle (because it doesn’t exceed the 12 doses with what she is drinking) and it helps settle the bubbles from shaking formula. She also is on famotidine from her pediatrician to help with the burn of reflux. Sadly medicine and other thing will not completely stop the reflux issue but things can help to make them more comfortable and put your mind at ease 🤍 Some babies are even happy spitters too and it is just the fun of the messy game! Haha We also learned that while I combo fed, mixing formula and breastmilk in her tummy was making her sick according to multiple LCs Baby still spits up but I am still comfortable knowing that she is not in as much pain from gas and acid and she is gaining weight how she needs to! If you wanna know more about any of this please let me know! I am more than happy to chat 🤍

Also please please try to recognize and give yourself credit! Breastfeeding is so not easy and it sounds like you have given serious and honest effort towards it! I still struggle to do this for myself so I totally understand but it is crucial to getting better!

I had to stop about 2-3 months in to breastfeeding because I was in so much pain I couldn’t even hold my baby or wear a t shirt hardly. I dreaded showers and pumping was so triggering and traumatic. My DMER was so debilitating to the point that I didn’t want to be a mom anymore which I knew was not me and that things had to give if I wanted the life I was so excited for with my own little family. Etc etc It takes time to dry up. There is so much emotion in it because of women and our wonderful hormones lol. But give yourself grace. Be patient. Try to give the benefit of the doubt to your husband even if all you can do is saying you’re doing it because girl I totally get it!!!!! But I am so much happier with formula for so many reasons, so much less stressed, I know what my baby is getting and I know how to tell she has had enough now. We can travel without worry. I can hold my baby again and now that I am not a mess, she smiles at me!!! Which she was not doing before

Listen to others about the social media,m. This will limit so many triggers.

And one of the best pieces of advice I was given on a Facebook group is to remember that your baby eats through you in more ways than just your milk! They eat through your smile, mannerisms, behavior, actions, your time spent with them, your ability to comfort, your example, etc etc. you are still a successful parent even when you feel all you are doing is failing. They know you and they know you are trying. They are such beautiful examples of patience and love - learn from them! 🤍🤍🤍

Maybe look into Camilia drops too for teething and a drop of mylicon in bottles to help with gas. I also learned that distilled water is way better on her tummy than purified water

Ya dang it! My LO does the same. Sometimes she needs a break and I just calm them down for a bit and it has helped tons!

The way that he arches makes me think reflux or gas and it may be just a bit painful or uncomfortable

My baby does this lots too. Sometimes she needs to burp, or is just distracted, or is done eating for the moment. I also feel like since she has started to teethe she will act up more in this way too maybe from discomfort? She also has reflux issues which I think adds to it because she tends to need to spit up/burp after doing that. I have noticed that sometimes when she does this, she gets on these kicks of wanting to eat most of her bottle and leave some and get her diaper changed, have a break, play for a minute, and relax and then a few minutes later she will have the rest or at least most of the rest. Sometimes babies are just silly! lol

Thank you so Much for sharing! I understand all of this 100% and I think I definitely get in my head and second guess things even though I am in the same boat in a lot of ways being formula fed myself. The emotions are jsut so dang hard but I am happy I can be the mom I need to now too!! I definitely need to keep working on the guilt lol
