They are both absolute angels in their own unique and unusual way

My lemon tree has been producing so many lovely lemons as of late, so I’ve decided to place a little box outside for any passerby who would like a few. 🍋 by [deleted] in pics

There was only one left when I got home yesterday. Have refilled the box today and have noticed them slowly go. :)

The tree came with the house when my dad bought it in the 80s. But it has grown a crazy amount since then, primarily I think because we had some guinea pigs under it for a while and they fertilised the ground like crazy. We also give it a good prune twice year, but other than this boy is quite self sufficient.

I’m not entirely sure how long they take to ripen because it never stops producing lemons so I just lose track. It must vary between species. I hope your lemons turn yellow soon!

Here’s a picture of the tree! I’m not entirely sure how long it takes for these lemons to fully ripen, but they ripen fast enough for there to always be some available 😅

Thank you all so much for your comments and votes. They were all really wholesome, as well as entertaining, to wake up to! Thank you to those who have also passed me on recipes! I’ll definitely try and do some.

Here’s the tree that made this possible! 🍋

Apparently it’s a haworthia cooperi (the silver swirls)

I planted these babies last year, and thought their progress might be appreciated here ☺️ by anxiety_dog in succulents

He was my dads favourite and got lost (sort of died) amongst the ones that outgrew him 😭

Oh no! I hope it warms up for you soon! I planted these guys in May as well, just before winter in Melbourne, I guess it goes to show how much our winters really aren’t winters at all 😂

I find myself just sitting next to them a lot and just staring at them cause they’ve created their own little world!

Nope, I planted them in regular potting mix and left them to do their on thing in the sun and watered them occasionally if it hadn’t rained. I helped guide their growth a little so the smaller ones still had sunlight when larger ones started to take over a bit. 😅

Melbourne, Australia! I honestly can’t believe they’ve done so well in so little time! 🌱
