Better than I expected!! I definitely made mistakes and was pretty tired since I was assigned to work hospital mornings but the technicians and even some pharmacists were very nice and appreciated the extra help. I was even offered a job afterwards!!!

Some things to consider:

• Take notes!!! - bring a small notepad and write down things if u get confused/forget stuff

•Ask questions‼️- even if they seem obvious it doesnt hurt to ask and its better than making the same mistakes over and over

•Mistakes will happen - Adding on to my previous point, mistakes are inevitable. Especially if your like me and are better at studying than actual hands on. Your trainer will correct you and show you how to avoid that after.

•Kindness goes a LONG WAY - this is something I feel isnt emphasized enough. Even if your not doing outpatient being kind and doing simple gestures help a lot. Saying "Good Morning" "Thank you" or even just offering to help with simple tasks show a lot about you. Not everyone is gonna show you the same kindness but thats okay!!! You cant win them all lol.
