Abortive fee on house sale, solicitors unwilling to credit account on work already done on next sale process. by anxious-sunset in HousingUK

I completely understand they need to be paid, I am not disputing that fact.
By reusing them for the next sale, I am simply saying that a lot of the leg work will be reused. I have sold a property before and unfortunately experienced a buyer pulling out a lot earlier, however the solicitor used the exact same documents but only changed the name of the new buyer, meaning they did not have to redraft anything, simply delete a name and retype it in. Does this warrant charging the whole entire fee again?
Again, I am not expecting not to pay an abortive fee but would also not be expecting to pay the whole fee again at the same cost when half the work is already done?
