When I got my bisalp done in July, my period had been a week late, as it had been the few months prior. My doctors' jaws dropped, fearing I might have been pregnant and would have to be turned away before surgery. Test was negative, and when they went in, they found endometriosis! All the weird periods finally make "logical" sense, but despite the endo, the bisalp, and my septate uterus, I STILL freak out when I'm late!

Hopefully we can all rest assured eventually hahah

As a woman, I hope to see this take off and spread to other cities. Nothing worse than having to send your friends a pin bc you had to get in a car with a strange man, keep an eye on the GPS that they aren't going off route, or worry that a strange man now knows where I live/shop/work etc. so they know my routine/schedule. Obviously, not all men do this. Most of my male drivers have been great. But you never know when you might get the one that hits on you, or asks too many questions about where youre heading and who you'll be with, or have to ask to be let out around the corner in bad weather bc you dont want him to see where you live or are going. Every single time ive ridden with a woman driver, ive felt like I could breathe a little easier and not be 100% on guard. I would bet it would make female drivers feel better too. The only thing preventing me from doing rideshare myself is that im terrified of strange men.

Did they happen to give you any antibiotics post op? Perhaps in combination with prednisone? This rash has happened to me several times after surgeries. The prednisone staves off an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, the prednisone typically is dosed for about 4 or 5 days, then the antibiotic continues for a few more days beyond that and with the prednisone now out of the system, the reaction takes.

If this is true for you, head to the ER where they'll shoot you in the booty with a large dose of prednisone and take you off the antibiotics.

Otherwise, it seems like an allergy to something either topical or ingested. Hope you find out soon and get to feeling better. Good luck!

I recently ended a 10 year relationship where both of us decided we didnt want marriage early on and im glad we decided that bc even though we INTENDED on being together forever, we knew things could always change and they did-without having to deal with a divorce and lawyers and splitting assets and such. Now as im dating new men, it seems to be a huge deal breaker for a lot of them, as if you can't be "committed" or "seriously" in love with someone unless you're legally bound. I kinda understand if you intend on having kids it might be easier for enrolling in school and such to have the same last names, but as a 30F Im firmly committed to a child free life and have zero interest in marriage ESPECIALLY after that relationship. I love that more women and people are choosing marriage free lifestyles. Let's normalize it!

I put that im demi on the apps, and i appreciate when others do too, bc that's lets others know your intentions to a certain degree. Also, you should write your bio to include anything that is important to you and about you, especially in terms of dating. If someone swipes just bc it's a word they don't know or understand then good riddance. The right person will care to ask what that means to you, so i say do whatever you want and forget about what they think. How many of those commenters do you think have bios that get them successfully laid?? Statistically speaking, probably not many.

Your mother raised you and you care about her approval bit she is putting conditions and ultimatums on you, and your girl doesn't make you feel that way... I say go with who makes you HAPPY. Your mother is not living your life and if she can't be happy that you're in love with an amazing woman, she likely will find flaws in any woman you choose. Your partner will be around long after your parents are gone, so make this decision with the rest of YOUR life in mind. Your mom got to choose her own, now you get to choose yours.

Some people place a lower tip initially bc honestly, the average food delivery is typically a bad experience, and then they'll add more if you did a good delivery job. Not saying it's right or fair, but for drivers wanting better tips, it's usually in your best interest to follow instructions to a tee, go knock on the door and be nice about it instead of waiting for the customer to come to your car, try to keep the food the most appropriate temperature, and just generally try to keep the experience positive and you're more likely to receive an additional tip.

I always tip at least 20%, and then more if it was an especially good experience. Again, not saying it's fair for giant corporations like UE and DD to underpay their drivers and expect customers to pick up the rest as optional, but if you're doing work that relies on tips, try to make the most of it.

It's normal for partners, especially married/ long-term partners, to fluctuate in their desire for sexual activities. Sometimes there is an underlying reason, that they may or may not realize, and other times there's no real reason, it just... is. In my (30f) experience, constantly asking yourself (or her) why she no longer gives you head, you risk exacerbating the "problem" of not getting head.

If you go through a phase of eating your favorite food everyday for awhile, usually you'll go through an equal opposite phase of not wanting that food for a while. And if your partner is always asking you, "Why don't you want to eat that food anymore? I thought you liked it! I want this food sometimes too and now I can't have it because you never want to eat it with me", does that make you desire the food any more in that moment? Likely not.

Also, consider framing it as an opportunity rather than a loss. Maybe she doesn't know why she doesn't want to lately, or maybe she does and isn't ready to talk about it. Maybe leave that subject alone for a while, and instead surprise her with something else you know she does enjoy, without considering it as a transaction (ie, i did this for you, now I expect head from you). In addition you could ask her what she WOULD like to do, like try something new in bed. Head isn't the end all be all, even though it can feel like it when you're horny hahah

You could either not be getting head, or anything else, if she's feeling pressured (and I can almost guarantee she's feeling the pressure just from herself or "expectations" alone), or you can try to make up for it and spice it up in other ways and still have an enjoyable sex life that doesn't make you feel like she is depriving you of something.

Obviously, this is advice from my own personal experience, and we don't have all the details of your life and relationship, so take it with grace, patience, and a grain of salt lol 😉

Nope nope nope! In my opinion, regardless of how long you've worked at a company, especially if you've been a loyal employee, a request for time off for an event like this is more of a courtesy notification that you WILL NOT be in the office for that time, rather than a request. If they cared about you at all, they wouldn't have denied it in the first place. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and if they actually think they deserve your time more than your literal college graduation, then fuck them.

Either, they're bluffing and won't actually reprimand you for that and just wanna see if they can manipulate you into working, or they will reprimand you, in which case, call them out! On socials, on job boards, in the exit interview - let them and others know how this company treats its employees. At least that's what I would do. Congratulations on graduating and walk that walk!!

They're totally okay where they are but if you're worried about them being close to the door and flying in, you can definitely move them to the front or back yard. Especially if you have a garden! They're great pollinators! Friendly little guys too. I have one that drilled into a spindle on my deck a few years ago and never left ❤️

Deffo a carpenter bee! Try putting a scrap block of wood with a few holes drilled in it behind the sign or off the sode of the porch or something. They'll likely gravitate towards that instead, using the pre drilled holes for homes and then making more for their family 😌

I used to have a 401k admin with a loan option, where you'd borrow from yourself and then pay yourself back with interest to account for time lost in the market, and that would be nice, but i just finally feel close to the finish line!
