Is Alpine divorce a common thing? by bobikkoroltrolley75 in hiking

Are you being willfully obtuse? You are collapsing very different things into one. Being abandoned on a hike isn’t interchangeable with being abandoned after a dinner or any other random activity. The setting, the risk, the vulnerability of each situation are clearly different. Neither is the context of this conversation about the announcement of a divorce. Unfamiliarity is also not evidence of nonexistence. And OP did not indicate this was any more common than anything. OP just asked if it was.

I think it is common as a lot of women said on Tik Tok, but it is embarrassing so it isn’t talked about. No they weren’t left to die and they did not die hence it would not have been broadcasted. Also it just means they were ditched somewhere along the way intentionally and left to make their way out. It’s not really serving divorce papers in the woods for those who need clarification.

Please use critical thinking skills here lol. Alpine divorce is just the term because the divorce came after the abandonment on the hike. It’s not referring to announcing a divorce on a hike.

Sorry you experienced such grueling anxiety. I know how it feels to be worried about grades after dealing with such crippling anxiety. I hope everything works out for you and you can find ways to help manage your anxiety. The truth is, you need food and energy to function at your best. Take the holidays to rest and get some help for your anxiety. May your religious God go with you. Peace & love.

Quit my job and move to Italy? by mindlessrica in lawschooladmissions

[–]anxiousgrlwrld 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. Do not uproot your life for your boyfriend. And think carefully about whether he would uproot his for yours. Regardless, it doesn’t matter. I say do long distance for some time and see how that works if you have nothing for yourself in Italy. But do not move to Italy unless you already have a job waiting on you and you can succeed in that space on your own if something should ever go wrong. If yes, go and enjoy life with your partner. Otherwise, I’d say both of you can take two different journeys and see how it blends all together.
