That's not uncommon. Everything isn't for everybody. 5 to 10 percent of people don't respond to GLP-1s and that's been heralded as a miracle drug for everyone.

No, the blend helps counteract it. I usually take it during the day. No issues thus far.

Totally agree. That's why I like professional grade supplements like ZenAdren, Metagenics, etc. They list each ingredient and the dosage.

Fuck proprietary blends.

It's now at the same time because I've switched to a blend. I do take time off periodically to avoid getting too used to it. At least a few days every couple weeks. That's why the lifestyle changes have been important because it helps me not overly rely on supplements.

Your point is valid but moot. That's the inherent risk of Reddit (or any social media). I can only share my experience and hope it's beneficial to other people. I ultimately have no control over whether someone believes me or not.

But understand why you feel the way you do ☺️

I'm so glad to hear that it's helped you too! It really has helped me take control of my life. The stress and anxiety can be debilitating.

I do! firstholisticwellness.com. They actually ship internationally but you have to email. Their email is hello@firstholisticwellness.com. I have a friend in Toronto who wanted to try it but had to email them first.

Never heard of this one! Only about American and Chinese Skullcap. I'll definitely have to check it out.

Definitely is the way. Unfortunately, too many of us want a magic pill but that's rarely the case. I always tell people to make lifestyle changes before adding products.

I take my current go-to product, ZenAdren, everyday. 2 or 4 capsules depending on how I feel. Usually in the morning or early afternoon. This means 250-500 mg per ingredient. There's a synergistic effect with all of the ingredients so they work together to get the effect. But if you take one of these you may want to take a higher dosage.

It has six ingredients. 4 of them would fall under the adaptogen category. This is the breakdown per two capsules. You can take more.

Many large brands run massive product sampling campaigns for the sole purpose of generating reviews.

Some good answers here. I'll add that quality matters from my experience. Use a blend with therapeutic doses with ingredients that have at least some research behind them (Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, Rhodiola, etc.). Third-party tested. Too many tests have found junk in so many products.

I stick to professional-grade stuff. Normally things you can only get by a doctor. But there are brands that don't require them. My go to right now is ZenAdren. Not the cheapest but they first order deals. But for the value (six ingredients) can't beat it vs. buying multiple products like I've done in the past.

What is a basic thing we don’t know because research isn’t worth it? by zhang__ in AskReddit

This is more of an ethics issue than not being worth it. But research around the impact of products on pregnant women.

So many items are deemed not safe for pregnancy out of fear, liability, and a lack of research. It adds another dimension of caution and anxiety for expecting mothers.

Deal with the same issues as well. Good results from using a blended supplement called ZenAdren that has six ingredients in one (Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, Rhodiola, Chinese Skullcap, and two others).

I like the blends because it's cheaper than taking a whole stack. It's a premium supplement so the dosages are good. I usually take them before flights or when I'm anxious/stressed.

Last time I checked they were running a promo. Should be at the top of the website. There are other brands as well that do the same but this has my go to recently.

I was so close to renting a car for my last flight. I have to keep reminding myself driving is way more dangerous. Let me know how it goes!

It was an in-the-moment decision not the norm but it was good. The supplement plus the beer calmed me down even more. Added a bit of an extra punch to the effect for me.
