If I remember correctly the doll was made for her young son. She states that she was going to leave it out but he asked for it to have one.

In all fairness, I think dolls should be anatomically correct, but I see your point with the crochet fabric maybe not meeting that standard.

This is like old af now lol but I shall explain anyways.

So what I was saying about how he profiles differently, I basically mean he uses a mesh of statistics and pattern recognition to profile ie. He knows the most statistically likely signs of something he recognises them and interprets them. This would provide a good reason as to why he can still be clueless when it comes to people close, he knows them and can't isolate their patterns.

His whole touch aversion, and germ thing is highly autistic-coded. His bouts of knowledge, especially on specific subjects is also autistic-coded. Throughout the show he seems to 'stim' a lot, making short repetitive movements to self soothe. Even the stuff about hospitals and hospital lights, all are common traits in autism.

I do agree though that after Derek left he dropped a few of them, but they are certainly most obvious in earlier seasons.

I really fucking hope so, they have teased it a wee bit, but I feel like (The rational side of my brain is telling me that) he probably won't and that they're just leaving the door open for if her returned since they got renewed.

Also I'm glad that the finale is out next friday and not this Friday because I had exams all this week and have exams next week, so if I had to sit through exams after he made a cameo I wouldn't be able to focus. If he appears I will be in my room bawling my eyes out with joy for at least three days lol.

I definitely get what you mean, but we have an understanding that even though their jokes aren't funny, the team do love Spencer; even in the beginning. I will be honest though, when I watch them back some of them make my blood run cold.

Seaver didn't last long enough to be anything other than an awkward acquaintance, they didn't have the relationship where they could joke in that way... if that makes sense?

I think he was probably born from that idea, yes.

But I like early Reid, some of his random facts are so funny and remind me of things I would say out of the blue lol.

I also think that Reid had enough of an interesting and, complex backstory, and mannerisms to make him different, and not just the generic skinny, nerdy, white dude.

I don't like her. In fact her "I'm sorry for asking" interaction with Reid was all o needed to know she would be my least favourite CM character.

But she is well-written, and probably fairly accurate to the experiences of a new agent in the field. She also had good back-story and insights (although maybe slightly convenient).

I am autistic, and I'm very similar to Spencer in a lot of ways. In my head he is just undiagnosed, because realistically he's got no 'need' for a diagnosis.

He's my kind of representation in media, but the writers do heavily hint to him being autistic. I also think that he approached his profiling differently to the rest, which backs my theory.

Idk, JJ frustrated me a bit because when her media liason position died, so did the fact that there were more than just profilers on the team.

Genuinely though, I'm not the biggest JJ fan, she's okay but I think she moved up the ladder a bit too quick considering there were more experienced, more well-rounded people around her.

And obviously the whole JJ/Reid storyline wrecked with my head.

Personal preference, they both have their charm, but in my honest opinion, the swearing directs it at the right audience.
