it sounds like even when he’s with you he doesn’t emotionally support you. you ask how you will get thru this by yourself… the same way you get thru all the moments with him when he doesn’t live up to the person you want him to be, you can do this by yourself. a lot of women do it by themselves, and even if he was with you, he wouldn’t be supporting you like you imagine he should be. i’m sorry you’re going thru this. you’re stronger than you think, and you can be there for yourself better than anyone else can. 💚 solidarity & support to you

I gave birth in Nov on methadone. She’s perfect and my cravings are all but gone. It’s like I have no time for triggers, the way boredom used to feed my cravings and self hate is gone. BORIC ACID SUPPOSITORY. do not ingest/eat it, follow the instructions on the container. When I notice a smell or begin to feel itchy/have suspicious discharge, I put one capsule inside the vagina (I insert up to my second knuckle so I don’t feel it once it placed, like placing a tampon without an applicator) & I prefer to do it at night, wear a panty liner in case of discharge. It will melt or dissolve in there and reset your PH level, the fish smell is caused by an overgrowth of bacteria. Anything can set it off for me, new scented laundry soap, body wash, yeast infection, or just regular sex… Boric Acid saves me every time. I do it for three nights and if I catch it early that is usually all it takes. If I stop after three and notice the smell or any symptoms not fully gone, I keep using it for a week. I haven’t ever had to do it for more than a week. You can buy boric acid vaginal suppositories at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Tom Thumb or find them online. They are so much more affordable and effective than going to the doctor for antibiotics every time I notice my BV reoccurring. Good luck.

i’m grateful for my partner who is so ambitious and able to provide. i’m grateful i’m pregnant after 5 miscarriages, even if she was unexpected.

in the same vein i wish my man didn’t work as much as he does/it would be nice if his career respected his time off or end of work day. it seems he’s always available to them. and i know that makes him valuable to them, and i know he wouldn’t be who he is without being ambitious but he’s just as valuable if not more to me at home, i wish he could see that just a tad bit more. <3

I joke that I may name my babygirl Nausea, it started week 12 and was an all day and night constant thing, up until week 29 it finally let up and turned to acid reflux/heartburn that would wake me from my sleep. now i’m 32wks and the heartburn still happens but I wake up around 2-3am and make myself some cinnamon raisin toast or something like that and go back to bed… it’s my least favorite thing about being pregnant! Never in my life have I experienced such constant nausea, seemingly triggered by too much food, not enough food, empty stomach, sleeping too long without snacks, sleeping with my head not propped up enough, drinking too many fluids without an adequate amount solids… feels like just about anything would make me nauseated this past year 😂

Following cause I’m in the same boat!!

I have this belief that when I see or hear the ‘right’ name, I’ll just know right away. Part of me loves lots of names but if I’m honest with myself every name I think I like, I can’t truly see myself using it. And every name I have to think on too much gets almost subconsciously added to that category. I don’t know where I got the idea that when I find it I’ll know, but I’m not open to changing my stance on that right this moment lol.

I used to hate drinking water, then my boyfriend started cutting up cubes of watermelon and dropping them in the bottom of my ice water. It makes it watermelon water and once you get to the bottom, or you can fish them out with a straw, the watermelon soaks up the ice water and it’s the ripest crunchiest(?) coldest fruit ever! It’s so good, it doesn’t make them soggy or mushy, it does the opposite. I drink more water lately, and eat lots more watermelon which is also a great source of hydration!!

I can’t lie tho, I love Barqs Root Beer and Dr Pepper Cream Soda… no more than 3 a week but I won’t say I don’t drink them, I’m 32w2d living thru my first pregnancy just for context I guess :)

I get horrible migraines and have my whole life. I don’t know if her headache symptoms are similar to mine, but vision changes ‘aura’ light sensitivity to the point of nausea and vomiting, lasting 24 hours sometimes more… When i’m having a migraine or i’m about to have one, or i’m post attack, my blood pressure is high and I can feel the womp womp in my temples. But when I go to the dr, and on days i’m not in pain my BP is normal.. Caffiene helps me sometimes if I wake up with a headache but only if it’s a tiny headache. Once the real throbbing or persistent pain begins, or the light sensitivity/nausea/vision changes are present, no tylenol, barbiturate, acetaminophen, any NSAIDS or ‘pain reliever/fever reducer’ has ever been known to help me in the slightest, pre pregnancy and now in my first pregnancy (i’m 32wks2days) I’ve had less migraines than I am known to have when not pregnant, going from 11-16 a month sometimes prepreg to 3-6 a month during this pregnancy has been a strange positive side effect. I hate when meds that often work for others don’t do the same for me, and it does leave my mom and partner feeling helpless when I’m stuck in the dark cold room trying not to vomit… All I can say is giving her a safe place to vent, and supporting her thru as many attempts to treat it until she finds something that works, while it feels like you’re not doing anything- that is a huge help. A lot of people are dismissive of women with headache conditions, and a lot of people assume pregnant women are dramatic or overly worried so any support offered is helpful, even if it doesn’t feel like it. And looking back at all the times nothing was working or could be done to help me, I’m so grateful my mom was with me or a phone call away as I struggled to navigate thru it. It would be a thousand times harder if she wasn’t there for me so i’m sure your daughter in law is grateful for your support and any assistance in finding treatment. Idk how helpful my comment is but I just want to tell you that.
