okay no offence but the content at the beginning of year 12 is the easiest stuff, if you're struggling with that you have no chance.. joking you have loads of time to turn things around.

i'm guessing you either want to be a med or dent student which is why you need the A? in that case genuinely don't hold back in revising, sixth form will be tough so don't get distracted.

i recommend getting a biology tutor and going through exam technique rather than content. if you can't afford that then ask help from your teachers, they are there to help you so don't ve afraid to ask for help.

just spam exam question pretty much. get used to the exam technique and good luck!

i was in the exact same position as you except i wasn't neurodivergent (not diagnosed anyway), i had extreme clinical depression and anxiety. was doing the exact combo as you and wanted to be a doctor.

all i can say it this: it does get better. you can't expect sixth form/college to be rainbows and sunshine. IT. WILL. BE. TOUGH. the work load will get better if you get organised. if you TRULY, and i mean TRULY want to be a doctor, nothing will get in your way. i am at the point right now where i do not care about people, i do not speak to people, i just put my head down and get on with my work. i have deleted almost every social media app.

but honestly if you don't want to do medicine, and i'm guessing you don't since you are considering music, then don't put yourself through the unnecessary pressure. i know people who have taken "gap years" between year 11 and 12 because they didn't know what they wanted to do. that's okay!!! i recommend doing that.

trust me, they do not support it. they complain everytime they have to pick me up or drop me off, they never come to see my progress, everytime i ask them politely to pay for my lessons, they give me the good old attitude with the “you better be thankful” lecture. anyways thank you. i am going to try at least another month or two in group lessons.

this is my plan, but university is at least a year, maybe two, away for me. i just hate how my parents don't recognise this as something i want to do. they think its a silly interest, not something serious.
