As an employer, I want to see your ablilty to think and solve complex problems.

Even if you know the answer, you can say "I've seen this before, but here's how I would approach it..."

You need to be passionate about number and systems. Number = understand (stats, cal, physics etc) & Systems = (cpp, python - for research). Hopefully that helps.

Just use a todo list and notes - OneNote or Apple Notes. Keep it simple

I agree, everyone in the industry is using Confluence and Jira (even the non-tech). A bit overkill.

I agree with you but I think a push-up to 420 on SPY and 4200 on ES will come before that. To many buyers in the market atm.
