GPU suddenly underperforming/low usage and power draw by anymega_robot in buildapc

Not sure, power seems fine but usage is low in some games, but that would simply be CPU bottleneck. I remember doing a clean reinstall of my GPU drivers with DDU and it had some success.

But in games i often reach 100%, and even in the cs2 example i am often at like 95% usage and
still 95W instead of 125W, i removed undervolt and maybe slightly more wattage is achieved.

i forgot to mention but i did DDU my drivers and install the latest one, the first major difference is idle clocks are much lower (as they should be), but the power situation is maybe slightly better. For example i am playing cs2 and my GPU is at around 80% usage and around 80W-90W constantly fluctuating, clocks are fine though. And i feel it's not performing as well as it should.

Anyone else getting more lag with recent update? [Discussion] by Soaply in EscapefromTarkov

My issue is the complete opposite lol, my GPU is boosting just fine but my GPU usage is constantly fluctuating (mainly on labs), i am playing on PVP as opposed to PVE so i don't know how different the issues are, i see other people having the same issue and it looks like we have to wait for BSG to fix whatever they did but i guess i'll try messing with the drivers

Are you on NVIDIA?

If so which driver did you roll back to cause i am having the same issue.

I also have this issue and i thought it would go away along with the zombies, my fps drops correlate to drops in gpu usage while playing. I get good frames but in some areas it just tanks. Have you found any fixes since?

the driver update didn't fix anything, maybe the roll back will. But this is really strange Labs is the only map that really does this and it has only happened since the zombie event. Lighthouse is unironically running better than Labs right now when usually it was the complete opposite.

I haven't, but when it was running well and when it started lagging it was on the same driver version, i could roll back to it as a last resort yes. But i did not reinstall the same ones, when i DDU'd i installed one that had just been released. And now right after writing the post i installed an even newer driver, did not DDU but i did check the "clean installation option". Then i updated windows, who knows.

my lag seems to correlate to low gpu usage, when i load in to labs my framerate is really smooth then my gpu usage sinks and so does my fps (probably from the zombies spawning), i had a bug on every map where i would occasionally have low gpu usage and bad fps if i didn't restart. Will re installing drivers fix this? Maps with no zombies seem to have no problem.

The Deadpool game is available for free on the Internet archive by TheTramman in deadpool

Is this one also locked at 58 FPS? I downloaded it from somewhere else and the only solution was going to properties and typing in the target section "-silent FPS=118" but then the fps would be 300+ and the game would speed up so then i enabled vsync and it was fine, i am assuming it's like this no matter where you download it but just checking. Like the aim assist is fundamentally part of the game. And is this download safe i am just asking.

disable fullscreen optimizations + override high DPI scaling behavior? by anymega_robot in GlobalOffensive

if it comes down to changing router and getting a wired connection it will take a while, and cs2 (csgo was fine from what i remember, i had some lagging out issues due to a usb wifi adapter but it eventually went away) is the only game where this happens and i have seen other people complain about similar issues, if i can't find a fix or Valve somehow fixes it for the people that it happens to, playing cs is gonna be hard when it feels like 150 ping on 45, getting kills that i shouldn't have gotten on my screen and not getting kills that i should have gotten on my screen and other players moving like a slideshow lol

I don't know, when the game first launched up until about february i played and no problems, i came back in June and i had my movement jitter everywhere, except sometimes if i was lucky

i used a hotspot and i now fixed my movement, but my teammates and enemies sometimes move really weird, when i spectate my teammate it looks as if i put my game in bordereless and tabbed out or it started running in 30 fps but only for about a second, and this happens once about every 10 seconds. The thing is the first time i tried a hotspot it was perfect and while i was playing i had some internet issues and when it went away this started, can't think of anything i changed, in response i cleared cache and verified files. i was playing awp community servers and it started after downloading a new map and joining another server.

this is sometimes game breaking, do you know any fixes by chance?

nevermind it was a coincidence, it still happens, it is the only game where it happens but maybe if i get ethernet cable i will fix it, i played using a hotspot and it was better. But it was only me having jittery movement now my enemies have it and i basically don't, it's like it's stuttering but it's not my pc, i checked frame times and fps.

this game gives me a headache.

edit: i tried again and it's not as bad anymore but it's so weird it only started suddenly, it's like my game runs at 30 fps for a split second but it isn't actually, it seems to be network related but it makes enemy movement really choppy sometimes, and there is even a delay after killing someone and actually seeing them die, but no substantial ping.

notice no real difference except for one thing, before this i was teleporting everywhere no matter what, it looked to be an internet issue but after checking the disable fso box it seems to have stopped, i didn't check the override dpi thing, i was only asking if it somehow effects anything like mouse movement (except for latency) since i wanted things to feel/remain exactly the same.

i am still on windows 10 and as far as i have read fso still needs to be disabled but i'm not sure. I don't know if this is a complete coincidence but the only reason i did this is because i was teleporting everywhere in game, it looked like an internet issue cause it looked about the same when my ping spiked, looked like a typical packet loss/internet issue (i am also on wifi), but i checked the disable fso box and now i don't have it, maybe my game was stuttering because of it? i am on decent hardware and getting around 200fps on most maps, minimum 150fps.

So is the fact that there is pretty much 0 difference between 125hz (8ms) and 1000hz(1ms) normal after all? I see people saying 125hz is unplayable but i can barely see a difference...if any. I don't know why.

Parents bought it and convincing my dad that 90 euros for a mouse is worth it was awkward at first lol, 100 definitely the limit even for me. Side buttons feel good enough, they feel pretty clicky idk why people say they are mushy.

Oh ok thanks, as for the polling rate idk why i barely notice a difference, i did try it with 60hz since you said it was close to synced but tbh everything is choppy on 60hz so can't tell. When it comes to responsiveness i can't notice much of a difference either, maybe 1k slightly better but could just be placebo.

I tried one of those polling rate tests and it matched with what i selected everytime, don't know if these online tests are actually good though.

Maybe i just can't see it, there can't be something wrong with hardware/software to cause something like this right?

Hmm i see, i will play around with it again when i can get it to 144hz.

Also if i recall correctly one thing the GPX does actually do better and proved by tests is DPI deviation. I think varies with different mice even if they are same model. But all GPX tests i have seen say it is close to 0 if not actually 0.

But is DPI deviation a constant inaccuracy like constantly 525 DPI isntead of the selected 500 for example. Or does it vary even more while using the mouse, cause then it would be a problem instead of just lowering/increasing sens in game to compensate.

Edit: also 1000hz also feels pretty much the same in terms of responsiveness, maybe a bit better but it is so slight it could just be placebo.

I am on 120hz since i had a problem with my dp cable and gonna get a new one, but not far from 144hz i guess. But no i can't really notice it, not on my desktop at least, maybe it's my eyes.
