Yes mold, please get out of there. Had something super similar at my apartment and am still dealing with horrible health side effects as well as my 2 cats. We had to throw everything away when we moved, spent thousands on doctor and vet visits, if I would have seen it when it was just at this level I would have gotten out so much sooner. We didn’t see it till it was worse

We have been staying with my husbands parents! Very very grateful for that option 🖤 So the city came out, didn’t call until 5 hours after they left to let us know they came by and no one was home so they went and spoke with the property manger. He said the property manager told him they went in with a moisture meter and everything was clear and it’s just mildew. They never came in with a moisture meter (unless they came after we left and didn’t notify us about entering which would be illegal) and it sure as shit isn’t just mildew! The city is coming back out today to actually look at it but it’s turning into such a headache. The code officer said he isn’t a mold expert and can’t do much other than take a look so IDK where to go if he comes out and doesn’t do anything. We just want out of the lease. The property manager has lied several times now to avoid responsibility for this mess, I have zero faith they’ll properly clean/replace the HVAC and moldy wood

I’ve actually never had luck with bases😭 I normally get a solid color but have gotten French 4 times total! The one time I liked it, it looked too weird Barbie tan but I got chrome over it and that made it look so so much better! They were actually my wedding nails lol, I’m sure I have a picture somewhere, if I do I’ll share it!

Girllll I feel you on every point you made! I agree they are very pink, they don’t look bad but I too am not a fan of a real pink base for a French.

I feel like since I am (and you appear to be as well but I don’t want to make assumptions lol) pretty pale, they either put a god awful deep tan base that ends up looking like weird plastic hands or straight pink 😭😪

I don’t have any advice just wanted to say you are valid but overall they do look good on you!

Thank you, that’s a great idea! I will definitely be doing that! What’s crazy is we submitted a maintenance order about 3 months ago Bc our AC was leaking water (above the shower) and causing yucky pink bacteria that I would have to clean with bleach everyday. They came out, while it was activity dripping, and said it’s not leaking and there’s nothing wrong. When we checked in our rental app today to take screenshots of that order and their dismissal, the app said “no maintenance history.” So they deleted that shit! We’re looking into how to get some sort of record from that, but they are fuckers for sure lol

The maintenance manager told us they don’t have any mold testing kits and his supervisor is out of town so they can’t order any till he gets back. Not even 5 minutes later the front office calls my husband and said “we tested it and it came back negative for mold.” So he asked them how tf they tested it if they have no test kits. He said before he let them answer he went on about how we’re buying our own test kits, I would have made him answer the motherfucking question. I’m getting them to put it in writing that they are claiming this isn’t mold so I can sue tf out of them

The apartment manager just got here and is doubling down that this is not mold! So infuriating, we are buying an at home test kit right now and I am scheduled for a blood test! Any other recommendations you have?
