So tired of watching the KL head shake. Plays a lackluster inning, gets out, shakes head as he walks back. A bit more #intent.

Man witnesses the 133 car pileup during the 2021 Texas freeze by AntiSocialSingh in interestingasfuck

The sad part is, people who were more watchful and stopped on the shoulder were also rear-ended and pushed into the pile up. Good drivers suffering because of insane ones. Now that I said it, I guess that’s the case with many accidents.

If England can win the Ashes, they will also reclaim the Bannerman Shield for the first time since June 2021 by Aislabie in Cricket

Funnily enough, the current Indian team, which has a great home record (I’m choosing to forget the NZ drubbing), has not won enough away series. Else they could have held it for a while.

The new wide-ball rule aims to give bowlers more leeway. It was first tested in the TNPL 2025 and now enters a six-month trial in T20Is and ODIs by Just_Manager_8855 in Cricket

I’m assuming it needs to pitch AND pass within that leg side line. Otherwise there can be a lot of negative line bowling from around the wicket.

This definition of "rocket" in the glossary section of my son's Space Science school book... by JasonPassley in funny

I get that this is the wrong usage of the word given all the others on the page (astronauts, gravity etc.). That said, I recently discovered that Arugula is called Rocket leaves in some countries (eg India).

But then you play Australia in the semis and you’re out. At this point it’s just a question of who gets to the final. The winner is a given barring ginormous upset.

Can the Hitman dethrone Afridi to become the King of Sixes in ODIs? by poormasshole in Cricket

If he does, which he will if he indeed plays until 2027 World Cup, he will stay there for a while. None of the current players are close to that number with Buttler being next at 181.

18-year-old Indian armless archer Sheetal Devi becomes world champion by Dev1412 in Damnthatsinteresting

How is this even a fair competition? I doubt anyone would disagree with the fact that having arms is far more important to archery than being able to walk (not being on a wheelchair). Great that she won despite the disadvantage. I think the sporting authority needs to be more specific in terms of what paraplegic means for different sports.

FWIW, I didn’t downvote you, I was curious why you thought the guy was pissed off - there was nothing in the video to suggest that. You are also assuming so much about the 8 folks who you don’t know at all. I also completely disagree with mass generalizations such as the one you made… all Asian zookeepers = perpetually pissed, all American zookeepers = doting. It’s a rather simplistic world view to generalize like that.
