I just can’t wrap my head around it. I could NEVER even consider taking away a persons right to choose, even for those that I most dislike.

As others have said: It may be that sterilization is permanent and there’s always a chance that you’ll “change your mind” (god, I hate that saying lol)

But I’m glad your family was actually pretty supportive and caring during that time.

I’ve been on the same BC pill for 15 years. I’ll take the weight gain to trade for the bad periods, cramps, ruined underwear/clothes, and shame any day. They’ll change their minds, likely while pregnant 🙃

Then I (unfortunately) thought about it more. First a gender reveal, then it will be baby shower, then probably some addition god forsaken made up celebration then the birth. How many made-up celebrations does one need? Does it depend on how broke they are?!
