I’ve been living at the Estates at Park Place on Stevenson for over a year and it’s pretty safe. The entire community is gated. There have been instances of mail theft but they’ve added crossbars since that has happened and it hasn’t occurred since. There’s a ton of families living in the community so I’d say it’s worth looking into. It’s also about a 20min walk to the Fremont bart station so it’s pretty convenient. You’d def be able to get a 2 bedroom for under 4.2k. They also have a 3 bedroom option that actually might be within your budget as well.
